Feeling 14th

I woke up today quite later than I usually do, but I think I noticed a change in myself, one year more mature, stronger (which I noticed when I lifted a glass swiftly out of the dishwater and shattered it(which mum says is good luck?)) and I that's all I can think of at the moment. So 14, an even number, no idea what it will bring this year.

This year at school, we're doing a subject called Ubuntu, and it's about finding yourself and being yourself which I'm trying to do. I guess ones personality only develops when they're about seven and doesn't change. So I'm gonna try to do that this year, find myself (I'm not saying I'm lost ok!)

Anyways mum's making a breakfast for special me (yay) and I've got to prepare for a party, so I will probably talk to some of you today.

Yours sincerely (being mature, see?),
Royce

School

More or less it's good to be back in routine of the regular week. Actually, we just started school on Wednesday last week. Last week was just meet and greet for the three days. There's only a few new kids in our grade, but there are three Year 7 classes this year, but that's small compared to other high schools which have more than several. The college goes up to Year 10 this year with about 200 students. So, yes the subjects starts this week which will reveal Year 9 in itself. I'm expecting a challenge, especially carrying my books to and from school (we won't have any bloody lockers for the whole damn term!!). Oh yeah, I signed on for ACE football club today, and I think I saw some dude from the Brisbane Roar.

OK won't make this long because it's the finals of the Australian Open tonight, Roger Federer vs. Andy Murray.

See it wasn't long, not even short. Chiao!

Skatepark

Eh, not much is happening this week. I'm starting to get bored at home. But although I'm trying to relish the last few school-free days, I don't have much to do with myself so I'm relieved school is starting again.

Anyways, I've been out riding a lot now because I usually am tired when I come back after school. But yeah, I got this BMX bike which is great. I've been interested for sometime in going to this skatepark down near the shopping centre, but never actually went to it because you can sometimes get violent figures there. So I did hold back from going there for sometime because my imagination was getting the better of me. But I finally went yesterday. It was really cool. There were kids doing tricks on their bikes and stuff. I did go to a skate park in Gladstone so I missed some of the action since we move to Brisbane

Ok then I gotta do some other stuff on the web so see yas later.

This Week

Hey people. Just letting you know one week and a bit before school starts (....Whoo....) No actually I'm starting to get board with nothing to do with myself so I'm happy normal routine is starting again.

Anyways, watched Sherlock Holmes yesterday. Pretty awesome movie. Except maybe a bit more violence than I expected. I think Robert Downey, Jr. did quite well, especially with the British accent. Not a hint of Yankee slang there. A bit of comedy here and there as well so it made the whole thing interesting. I liked the character of Sherlock Holmes, because he was impossibly sharp.

We went to a Hillsong service on Sunday. Pretty powerful stuff, with the songs and preaching and everything. I liked it.

Okay, then see yas later. There's the tennis on now, Rafael Nadal's on!

This Is Life

I'm a little anxious in the new decade (by the way Happy New Year everyone!) 2010. I'm still getting used to it. I wonder what it will bring? Aha, definitely more technology. It seems that money is always the matter these days. Easily bring pleasures but equally double the pains. But I guess this is life, pains and pleasures. Every situation has it.

Life is balance, I think. Balance between work and play, life and death, good and bad. It's quite hard to get exactly right but you can do it. For me, I'm still hanging on this roller coaster ride. I want to be independent, but at the same time I don't wanna leave my comfortable cubby hole. It's a jungle out there. You need someone you can rely on heavily, someone who will never let you down.

I'm not a strong Christian, I think God is a holy being who made everything, blessed us with life, and gave up his Son, Jesus Christ, so we can live it knowing the wrongs that we have and will do will be forgiven. I believe that everything happens for a reason, not random happenings and consequences.

Life is a funny thing. What is it? I do not know. It has its ups and downs, pains and pleasures but it is an enormous blessing given to everyone, even if they have five seconds or one hundred years. But what do you do with it? I think you live it. How do you live it? By using it to make this world a better place. That is what I try to do.

OMG There's a Pigeon Outside My Window!!

Yep a pigeon is outside my window. Quite random actually. Anyways yesterday was freakin' awesome!!!! Me and Renae went to Wet 'n' Wild Youth Breakup for the year. Soz no pics cos' I didn't take the camera along cos' it was a water park. But it was fun. I've been there before at last year's breakup so it was Renae's first time. And the chicks were seriously hot!! It was pretty hard because they were like everywhere! But that wasn't the best part. I got to hang out with my friends from at school so it was great. Anyways that's all from me today I'll probably post to you guys next week. G2g do my IT and Science.

Reflection

Hey guys I'll be honest with you, I am not the most organized person in the world. The past events from yesterday have made history in my assignment books. Today was the first time I was confident that I WILL NOT get a good mark in my assignment. Wait, no, today I was confident that I WILL fail. Yesterday, I stayed up till 10 p.m. doing my SOSE and then had a little "nap" and woke up at 4:45 a.m. to continue my work of failure. So yep, not too proud of myself. It's a really bad habit because I do my best when the year starts then start to slow down as it progresses, finally getting lazier with organizing assignments and tests. Anyway that Semester 2 report card should give me a wake up call.

Moving on... Oh yeah did I mention it's Friday the 13th oooohhhoohhh creeeeppy! No really, today Renae said that when she was playing touch football, and was trying to tag down this girl with the ball, her legs locked into place. Yer seriously! But yeah not really a big fan on all this stuff. But I think Karma does exist, no idea why... and ghosts don't want to meet one but at the same time if you do it would be interesting.

It has been a great year you know. All the new kids have settled in well and made lots of new friends. I like school because of the peeps but not the work and assessments. Well I guess you can't have all the good stuff all the time. I just wanna say that I had my first go at love this year and that's all I'm saying about that.

Another thing, I got a Mac yeeeeeeeaaaaaaahhhhhh!!!!!!!!! wooooooo! I'm writing from it now. It's pretty awesome but I'm still getting used to it. And I got Flight Simulator X!! AWESOME! The best flight simulation game awesome. Oh and by the way Sharl and Anna mad meringues for the first time (big deal)

KK I'll write to you guys some other time. Right now I wanna CHILL
